This $6.5M project replaced an existing neighborhood fire station with a new 10,255 sq. ft. essential facility. The new building is a slab-on-grade single story wood framed structure with steel moment frames and bay doors. The exterior is a brick veneer with a standing seam metal roof. Underground utilities include a new storm and sanitary sewer system with a 1,000 gallon, three-compartment sand and grease interceptor, and a 72-inch storm water treatment unit. In addition, the structure is served by new gas, electric and communication lines. The station is a type V-N sprinklered building with three pair of hydraulic bi-fold apparatus bay doors powered by a photo voltaic system with a bi-directional meter.

Anchor Engineering is providing Construction Management and Inspection Services for the City of Fremont’s $3.9 million Fire Station #11, an essential facility.
The new station is a 10,375 sq. ft., two-story building with a three-bay wide Apparatus Room, public lobby, internal staff work areas, and living quarters.
